Amanda Schwartz  
Amanda Schwartz is a senior at George Mason University (GMU) majoring in communication with a concentration in public relations. Schwartz is employed by Life is good at National Harbor. She has interned with The National Association for Sport and Physical Education as a communications specialist. Additionally, Schwartz is a graphic editor for The Communicator at GMU. Schwartz hopes to find a public relations position in the Washington area.

Maia Kedem
Maia Kedem is a senior writer and layout editor for The Communicator. Kedem is presently a senior at George Mason University studying Communications with a concentration in public relations. Kedem currently holds an internship at the Entertainment Industries Council, primarily focusing on projects involved with both the Media and Mental Health, and S.E.T. Awards.

  Jasmine Jackson
Jasmine Jackson is a full time Public Relations student at George Mason University. Jackson has a consistent interest in fashion and the psychology behind fashion. Much of what Jackson writes about stems from her past and present interests and experiences. Living by the motto “Life writes, I listen – Everything has a story,” Jackson understands life as moments which influence individuals’ perceptions of themselves and others. Other passions that Jackson has include healthy relationships and the power of communication.

Deja Meko
Deja Meko is the senior web designer for The Communicator. Meko is graduating from George Mason University with a concentration in public relations in December 2012. Meko was in charge of the promotion efforts for the "View From the Streets" forum held by the Insight Committee. Meko plans to work in the public relations field after graduation.

Eddy Campos
 In addition to being a full-time student, Eddy Campos also has a full-time job. His current position stations him within the luxurious Tyson’s Galleria. As a Sales Manager within the Macy’s , Campos oversees the location’s Impulse section. After receiving his degree in Communication from George Mason University, Campos plans to pursue a career within the fashion industry.  Campos currently resides in Fairfax with his loyal Boxer-Lab mix Gogo.

Megan A. Speight
As a future Chief-Communications-Officer, Megan Speight is working hard to make her dreams come true. Speight interned with Comcast Corporation's Human Resources Communication Department, The Franklin Institute and The National Constitution Center. Megan is a senior at George Mason University studying Communication with a concentration in Public Relations and minors in Business and Tourism and Events management. Speight plans to move back to her hometown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and further her education by obtaining her M.P.S. in Public Relations and Corporate Communication.


Taren Henry
Lead Public Relations Director for George Mason’s Program Board. Senior Webmaster for the Communicator. George Mason communication major with a concentration in public relations. Office of Student Involvement student leader. Aspiring entrepreneur and public relations practitioner. Former Division 1 Woman’s Track and Field athlete. 

Sarah Fleming-Dahl
A graduating senior at George Mason University, Sarah is a double major in both psychology and communications with a concentration in public relations. Professionally, she hopes to work in marketing and collaboration with others. Sarah has experience as an intern for a government contractor called TASC as a engineering-marketing liaison as well as an implementer for social media company branding.  

Peter Milligan
Peter Milligan will graduate this semester from George Mason University with a degree in communication and a minor in public relations. Milligan has completed four internships in his field with companies such as Patch.com and the U.S. Public Interest Research Group. Outside of his academic activities, Milligan is also the Vice President of Public Relations for the Interfraternity Council. He is also an avid member of Mason's pep band, Doc Nix and the Green Machine.

Jenna Bohan
Jenna Bohan is a 21 year-old Mason Senior. When she’s not at school, she spends her time helping out at her family’s restaurant. . She loves being outside, hunting, and fishing. Volunteer activities, such as Big Brother Big Sister and various youth organizations, have lead to a passion for non-profit and getting involved to help others. She loves her small town of Winchester, VA, where she’s lived for most of her life. Currently she is having the time of her life, living with her best friend and their two dogs, and enjoying their last year of school.

Allison Dauksz
Allison Dauksz is a graduate of George Mason University and a senior writer for the Mason Communicator. After working in the optometry field for 8 years she returned to get her degree in communications with a focus in public relations. She works with her father in the Wounded Warrior Project and enjoys giving back to those who haves served our country. 

Fred Keown
Fred Keown is currently completing his senior year at George mason University. In the past 3 years Fred has served on the GMU Relay for life committee, helping to raise money to fight cancer and bring awareness to the cause he holds close to his heart. Furthermore, during his junior year he worked as an intern for Nordstrom, studied abroad in London for public relations and served as a teaching assistant in the spring.  He hopes to be attending a public relations graduate program in New York City in the Fall of 2013. 

Tasnim Eboo
She is with the George Mason University’s Office of Admissions. Last summer she was an intern at the Federal Trade Commission’s Office of Public Affairs in Washington, DC. In 2010 Tasnim has interned at Vive Media LLC based in Coralville, Iowa focusing on creating media reports and management and leadership skills. She studied in Florence, Italy and worked at The Florence Newspaper. Tasnim Eboo is a senior at George Mason University studying Communications and Public Relations. She currently lives in Fairfax, Virginia.

The Communicator is a George Mason University Communications Department student run magazine. This magazine features stories about current communication majors at Mason, Mason communication Alumni, and Mason's communication faculty and staff. The students of the communication practicum class are the senior writers and editors for the publication.
